With its realm of finely wrought, sculptural contours drawn across the surface of the canvas, and fragmented mosaic of irregular color blocks made by patiently applying layer after layer of paint, color is made, and applied coat upon coat, the work nearing completion through this endless, repeating, accumulation of time, awaiting the viewer in a neutral state just prior to acquiring concrete form and meaning.
