Here Homma has cut out a picture from a 17th-century antique plate to fit a boat shape, copied it, and mounted it on perforated sheet metal. Two works originally installed on the embankment of a river flowing through central Yokohama have been reconfigured to fit a window at void+stock. The perforated aluminum layer with different-sized holes changes in appearance depending on the light passing through it from outside, and reflected light from indoors. The “anonymous ones” show different sides depending on the relationship between time and place.
