The BOOKS and PRINTED MATTER section presents selections of books and other print items chosen for their stunning graphics and including not only art and design publications, but a carefully-curated range of other books, catalogs, zines, and small graphics, all with an emphasis on graphics in some sense, be it theme, editorial style, concept, binding, design, printing method or paper.
The first installment consists of seven prized books and magazines on the theme of typography from the personal collection of Miyago Yuko, head of publishers Book & Design, typography expert, and founding editor of text design journal Typography. Miyago also provides the book descriptions.
